such loud noise is an MP3 story blog. In other words, such loud noise is not an MP3 blog. I do not "review tracks" on such loud noise in the traditional sense. Instead, I write "fictional responses" to the featured music. It is an attempt to "write about music" as one might "dance about architecture." That is to say, rather than writing "about" the music, I presuppose that a purely emotional, "creative writing" response to the featured track is a perfectly reasonable and perhaps superior way to evaluate aural pleasure.
Each story is written with the song blaring loudly through my headphones on repeat. As such, each story is best read with the featured song's accompaniment. I do not stop the song until I have completed the story. On average, I would guess the song repeats four or five times by the time I have a finished product. Sometimes the stories are closely related to the lyrics and even include snippets from the song. Other times the stories are inspired by real-life events and describe emotions felt in relation to the music. Occasionally even, there will seem to be no discernible connection between the song and the story. That's OK, the music and the story can be functionally bracketed. Sometimes sounds and words conspire to tell the same story in a different way.
